Position Details
- Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: $22 –$26 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday. Rotating Saturdays.

At South Boulder Animal Hospital, we’re a 4-doctor small animal practice located in Boulder, Colorado, and we’re known for high-quality medicine and client service. We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician who is passionate about patient care, client service, and is excited to join a team that truly enjoys working together and is proud of the medicine we practice.

How You’ll Contribute
- Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
- Obtain high-quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards
- Run in-house laboratory testing (CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, fecals, etc.)
- Support surgical and dental procedures (prep, monitoring, recovery, instrument care)
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures; maintain accurate records
